Hannes Tscharner with his Millennium FalconJust a straight link to the article by Andrew of The Brothers Brick website who posted a great interview with the dedicated and talent LEGO builder Hannes Tscharner.

As we and many others wrote, Hannes build a gigantic 7,500 piece model of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and exploded into a degree of infamy as the photos spread around the world. Going by the name Marshal Banana on Flickr, Hannes was also responsible for building the 10,000 piece Jawa Sandcrawler back in 2011.

One of the things that makes the interview worth reading is the details that Andrew pulls out of Hannes on everything from how he stores his LEGO bricks and the process he uses to take the photographs to make his models really shine.

If you didn’t follow the link in the first paragraph, I urge you to read the interview with Hannes Tscharner by following the preceding link.
