Hey LEGO lovers! 🚀 Remember the fun times we had at LEGO stores, packing our favorite bricks into those cool plastic cups at the Pick A Brick walls? How we could stack ’em high, fit ’em snug, and then bring ’em back for a cheeky little discount on our next brick haul? Those were the days, right?
Well, guess what? The LEGO Group is shaking things up with a super eco-friendly twist! 🌱 This year, they’ve rolled out these adorable cardboard boxes to replace the old plastic cups. It’s all about getting greener and making sure our brick-building adventures are kind to the planet.
Now, there’s been a bit of buzz about whether we could keep using our trusty plastic cups for refills. The latest scoop, straight from the LEGO Group via their Ambassador Network, is that it’s time to give our plastic pals a well-deserved rest. If you’ve got a cup and you’re ready for a refill, the LEGO store crew will hand you one of the new cardboard boxes to use instead, totally on the house! And this sweet deal is yours until January 31, 2024.
After that, they’re all about the box life – the plastic cups won’t be swapped out anymore. But hey, staying eco-cool is worth it! Plus, you’ll still snag a discount when you bring your box back for more brick-tastic treasures.
So why the full switcheroo? Turns out, taping those cup lids and sticking on paper attachments for legal reasons wasn’t quite fitting with the whole sustainability vibe.

WHICH I think its that make them as ” KAREN ” because think that lids and taps are so. tacky and not in so vibe… WHO TRULY CARES ABOUT THAT ?!?!? Know what, I wud preferred to just use a small lego paper bag which just use a large cup to fill it up as up to 6 times to fill up, then closed, seal off with tape… NO NEED for recycled reusable cardboard boxes …. that what one of winner from Lego Masters did on their IG account which i following since Lego Masters season 3…
