The new Star Wars Tantive IV (75244) set will be available to VIP LEGO members starting tomorrow, May 3, and then on Saturday May 4th to the general public. Today LEGO has released a video featuring Model Designer César Carvalhosa Soares and Graphic Designer Maddy O’Neill talking about their process in designing the set.

The Tantive IV, for those who don’t remember their Star Wars history, is the ship seen at the end of Rogue One and the beginning of Star Wars: A New Hope (Episode IV) where Princess Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2 first encounter Darth Vader. It’s an iconic ship for that appearance as one of the first images fans saw when watching the original Star Wars trilogy.

The set is 1768 pieces in total and comes with 5 minifigures: Bail Organa, Princess Leia, Captain Antilles, C-3PO and a Rebel Fleet Trooper, plus an R2-D2 droid LEGO figure.
