LEGO has officially announced set 10257, Carousel, today. You’ve seen rumors about this set over the last few days, but now we have real details on this set by designer Mike Psiaki.
The Carousel is done in beautiful shades of gold and blue including a golden-yellow fabric for the top sails. The rides themselves are based on an animal theme, with brick-built representations of a swan, tiger, flamingo, elephant and frog.
The carousel will not only rotate when a hand crank is turned, but all the animals except the swan will move up and down. The set can easily have the Power Functions module added (not included) to allow hands-free movement.
The carousel will be available on June 1, 2017.
