1x2 Jumper Plate
1×2 Jumper Plate aka Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 1 Stud with Groove and Bottom Stud Holder (Jumper)

Flickr user Mala43b posted an interesting technique for building a broken or damaged wall using a series of 1×2 “jumper plates” and some 1×2 tiles. The resulting look is a rather convincing crumbling stacked-stone wall.

The key to the technique is in how you position the tiles and plates, taking advantage of the adjustable placement of the pieces. Sliding a plate or tile a little out of alignment or twisting them slightly adjusts how everything looks.

Notice in the picture below on the near right side there are some different colors and throughout the scene various pieces are slightly out of place, twisted or even tilted (ie: not level) to give a very successful broken-down feeling.
