LEGO news has been short of late, but as we continue to look forward, there’s some good things coming over the horizon.
The partnership between LEGO and Disney seems stronger than ever between the release of the new Disney CMF lineup and the incredible success of all the LEGO Star Wars sets and video games. Now, with the movie due in the fall, more news about the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story sets has leaked.
At Toy Fair in February, we got word of the Rogue One line, and the set ID numbers followed shortly after. Now we have prices (in USD and EUR) and the number of pieces per set. Unfortunately exactly what those sets are is anyone’s guess. With few details on the movie and plot, it’s virtually impossible to say what any of these are. One thing for certain is that none of these are UCS builds – so no new Star Destroyers or large ships. The 3 buildable characters will be interesting, given the fairly large cast announced.
