Back in 2013 those crazy guys over at Movoto created this awesome infographic and article where they calculated what buildings could be created with every LEGO brick produced up to that point. I’m not sure how accurate their numbers are, but the results are impressive, and if they’re off by a couple who cares!
At that point (2013), LEGO had produced approximately 472 Billion (capital b – Billion) bricks since 1958.
Some of the highlights include:
- 2,972 White House (Washington, DC) copies
- 588 of the Taj Mahal
- 200 of Buckingham Palace
- Homes for 122,000 people
