The WACO Historical Society sponsors an annual LEGO model contest allowing their paying visitors a chance to vote on their favorite models, with overall judging done by a panel of local volunteers.

WACO airfield is located in Troy, Ohio and was home to The WACO Aircraft company, the largest manufacturer of civil aircraft in the United States from the late 1920’s to early 30’s.

This year’s LEGO contest theme is “Scenes from Seuss” and contestants are encouraged to present a scene from their favorite Dr. Seuss book. The contest is open to all ages and are split into 2 categories for judging. Deadline for submissions is now extended until Friday February 5, 2016 and models will be on display for viewing and voting from Friday February 13 to March 13 at the museum and online.

Details and the entry packet are available from their website.
