Hey there, Star Wars and LEGO fans! If you’ve been itching for a fresh new adventure in the galaxy far, far away, you’re in for a real treat. During the big D23 event, Disney dropped the official trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, and trust me, it’s going to be a blast!

Before we dive into the details, let’s give a shout-out to the creative geniuses behind this project. We’ve got Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, the dynamic duo who are serving as showrunners, writers, and executive producers. And to top it off, James Waugh, the Lucasfilm bigwig (Lucasfilm senior vice president, Franchise Content & Strategy), is also on board as an executive producer. These guys know their stuff, and they’re about to take us on one heck of a LEGO-fueled journey through the Star Wars universe.

So, what’s the story this time? Meet Sig Greebling (voiced by the ever-awesome Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things). Sig is just a regular guy chilling on the planet Fenessa, herding nerfs, and swapping Jedi stories with his buddies. But things take a wild turn when Sig and his brother Dev (Tony Revolori) stumble across an ancient Jedi Temple. And because this is Star Wars, they just can’t resist tinkering with the mysterious Cornerstone they find inside. Spoiler: things get crazy fast! But don’t worry, they’re not alone. Enter Jedi Bob, a new character voiced by the hilarious Bobby Moynihan, who’s here to bring some laughs and, of course, some Jedi wisdom.

And, hold onto your lightsabers, folks—Luke Skywalker is back! But this isn’t the Luke we’re used to. Mark Hamill is voicing him again, but this time Luke’s got a totally different vibe—think surfer dude who’s super chill and ready to roll with whatever the galaxy throws at him. It’s a fun twist on the iconic character, and honestly, we’re here for it!

Rebuild The Galaxy Parody Posters

Now, if you’re a fan of cool posters (and who isn’t?), the team also dropped four brand-new parody posters for Rebuild The Galaxy that are pure gold. First up, we’ve got Jedi Bob standing tall with his green Lightsaber, looking all serious in a nod to The Force Awakens. Then there’s a light side Darth Vader (yes, you read that right—he’s all decked out in white), which flips the script on The Last Jedi art. And for a bit of a throwback, there’s a hilarious take on The Phantom Menace teaser, with Darth Jar Jar’s shadow looming ominously over a young Binks on Tatooine. But the real kicker? A LEGO twist on Attack of the Clones where the star-crossed lovers aren’t Anakin and Padmé, but Leia Organa and…wait for it…Greedo! Yeah, it’s as wild as it sounds, and we can’t get enough of it.

But that’s not all, folks—let’s talk about the cast, because it’s stacked with talent. Along with Gaten Matarazzo and Tony Revolori, we’ve got Marsai Martin, Bobby Moynihan, Michael Cusack, Ahmed Best, and, of course, Mark Hamill, who’s not just voicing Luke but also lending his expertise as a consulting producer. And the fun doesn’t stop there. We’re also seeing some of our favorite Skywalker saga stars return, including Naomi Ackie, Anthony Daniels (the voice of C-3PO, of course!), Kelly Marie Tran, and the legendary Billy Dee Williams. And if you’re into voice acting, you’ll recognize even more names like Dee Bradley Baker, TC Carson, Trevor Devall, Jennifer Hale, Phil Lamarr, and so many more. It’s like a who’s who of Star Wars talent!

So, whether you’re a die-hard fan or just someone who loves a good LEGO adventure, you won’t want to miss this. LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is landing on Disney+ on September 13, and it’s got everything you could want—action, laughs, and that classic Star Wars magic with a LEGO twist. Get ready to join Jedi Bob, Sig, Dev, and the gang for a galactic adventure that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. And who knows? You might just pick up some Jedi wisdom along the way!

Rebuild The Galaxy LEGO Sets

Of course you can’t have a Star Wars LEGO event without some new sets. We’ve talked about them before in this post, but let’s have a quick refresher.

First up is 75389The Dark Falcon. It’s like the regular Falcon, but dark – see where I’m going? At 1579 pieces, this set is priced at $179.99 and is on the LEGO site now (backorded at the time of writing)

Next up is 75393TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up with 1063 pieces for $109.99. This interesting set lets you somewhat mix-and-match parts from both ships to create something unique.

And finally is 75388Jedi Bob’s Starfighter at just 305 pieces for $39.99. Jedi Bob is a much awaited character in certain LEGO Star Wars circles, so I expect it’ll be fairly popular.
