Today Bricklink has announced the 5 finalists for their Bricklink Designer Program Series 5 and there’s some interesting sets.
The sets are in really no particular order, but we kept the order used by Bricklink.
All 5 of the sets are undergoing “Refining Finalist Designs” where the LEGO/Bricklink teams adjust the designs to make them ready for limited production runs. This includes “Working with Model Governance and Building Instructions teams, and making any final necessary adjustments before locking the designs for pre-production” and runs from September 1, 2024 to May 1, 2024!
Then in June of 2025 the sets will go up for crowdfunding where “BrickLink members may pre-order their favorite sets, with a limit of 2 of each set per household. All sets that receive over 3,000 pre-orders will be produced. Up to 30,000 of each set will be manufactured during a limited, one-time production run.”
