Following the leak on a German retail site, LEGO launched 2 new LEGO Jurassic World sets for 2024. 76963 Baby Dinosaur Rescue Center and 76964 Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull will both launch January 1, 2024 and retail for £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99.

We love us some Jurassic Park – and even some of Jurassic World, and the Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull looks pretty cool with the brick-built fossil. These sets seem out of place and out of time. Is there some new Jurassic Park movie, TV show or other property coming up to support these new sets? Or is this just a weird time to release?

76963 Baby Dinosaur Rescue Center

Young fans aged 4+ can care for and play with dinosaur babies while learning to build with this LEGO® Jurassic World Baby Dinosaur Rescue Center (76963) set. It includes an off-road vehicle and research area with a cave wall, both with Starter Brick elements, plus a feeding station. 2 minifigures, baby Ankylosaurus, Triceratops and Velociraptor figures, and small Velociraptor and adult Pteranodon kids’ dinosaur toy figures get play started fast.

76964 Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull

Inspire dinosaur-loving boys and girls or budding paleontologist aged 9 and up with this LEGO® Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull (76964) dinosaur toy for kids. The first Jurassic World set made for display features a skull with an opening jaw, a stand with an information plaque, a hidden ‘amber’ piece at the back of the model and a ‘fossilized’ footprint.
