Today, as announced the 100 Years of Fairy Tales contest on LEGO Ideas has closed. Overall there are 347 entries to the contest which the LEGO ideas team will now begin reviewing.
How they’ll get down to just 5 sets for the fan vote is beyond us. It’s a bit of a daunting task. On the contest submission page, they posted additional rules and the judging criteria.
Judging for the Fan Vote will be based on:
- Overall coolness and originality: 25%
- Most inspired details: 25%
- Relevance to contest theme: 25%
- Best use of LEGO elements: 25%
Keep an eye out for an announcement from the LEGO Ideas team about the fan vote opening on July 4. Be sure to vote as any set designer could also become an official LEGO Designer!
Here’s a random screenshot of some of the entries.
