LEGO has released a designer video for the upcoming botanical set, the Bird of Paradise (10289). In it, the talk with set designer Chris McVeigh about the history of th eBird of Paradise set.
He talks about the use of 8 golden rings as spacers, Technic bricks and how the plant mimics some of the feeling of having a plant that will wave in a light breeze.
The Bird of Paradise set is coming August 1, 2021 to LEGO stores and the LEGO.com website.
