Over the last 24 hours, after the new LEGO Architecture Skyline set photos came out, more information is coming to light.
First, the London Skyline (21034) set is available now at the brand new Leicester Square LEGO Store. The store opened today in London and is the World’s Largest LEGO Brand store. Being set in London it makes sense that this Architecture set would premiere there. Elspeth De Montes from The Brothers Brick has a full review online of this new set. The set will be available to the rest of the world in January.
The other news is that there’s some exclusivity to the Chicago Skyline (21033) set as well. News started appearing yesterday that suggested the set will only sell in Chicago, much to the dismay of the rest of us who don’t live in The Windy City. Luckily that has proven untrue.
The Chicago skyline set will be available starting December 11 in 3 Chicago-area stores: the Chicago Architecture Foundation retail shop at 224 S. Michigan Ave., the Lego store at Water Tower Place at 835 N. Michigan Ave., and the Legoland Discovery Center near Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. For the rest of us, we have to wait until January to buy it.
