Although relatively new to the scene, the UK’s Bricks and Bricks Culture magazine has done a great job of covering the AFOL scene over the last couple of years.
Yesterday they even trumped themselves with this awesome video of their Mark Guest building the yet-to-be-released LEGO Big Ben set. Bricks was given a pre-release set with no box, digital instructions and some very non-finished looking bags of bricks to work with.
Watching the lengthy build, which takes Mark a while even with time-lapse, you get a sense of the complexity and size of this massive set. You also get to see some of the inner workings and he talks about the amount of detail that the LEGO designers put into it.
