To paraphrase Homer Simpson – Lousy SMarch weather. But it is now March and this brings with it a whole bunch of new LEGO sets and some special LEGO deals over the month ahead. In case you missed the previous post, let’s get started with a recap.

Double VIP Points

Shop-LEGO-VIP-Double-PointsThis is obviously the big news for March – we haven’t had a double VIP points event in quite a while. With all the new sets out this month, and really since January 1 this year, there’s some really great options for getting a bunch of points and awesome sets. Double VIP points are available through official LEGO stores and the online store as well. VIP points are not ever available through third parties like toy shops or the Legoland attractions.

The double VIP points  promotion runs March 7 – 22 in North America, but may vary by country.

Free DUPLO set with DUPLO Purchase

If you’re buying DUPLO for your children or someone else, or if you happen to collect DUPLO, then this month you can get a free LEGO DUPLO Duck (30321) with any LEGO DUPLO purchase between now and March 25th. These don’t come around too often so you might want to have a look at the DUPLO selection.

The March Free Polybag

The free polybag is a Ninjago based set (Kai’s Mini Dragon) and available with any LEGO purchase of $35 or more. Some people find it confusing when LEGO ties a specific theme to the monthly polybag, but with rare exceptions these bonus items are available with all purchases.

Be sure to check out the Monthly VIP Mini Model Build and Easter Egg hunt events, along with everything else on the calendar.
