At the 2016 Nuremberg Toy Fair, LEGO Group has been revealing a ton of new sets, but this one is incredibly unique. This Porsche 911 is a new Technic set that features the classic Porsche 911 body, spoiler and all of the other details you’d expect, but they left the wrapper on.
This type of wrapper or paint job is usually used by real-world automakers while they’re testing a car in public view. The wild design makes it difficult to get an accurate read on the shape of new vehicles.
No word on pricing, piece-count, dimensions or even the exact release date, but you can probably expect this in the second half of 2016 and it’ll probably put a good dent in your bank account. Totally worth it!
