We’d previously heard whispers of a mysterious GWP due to arrive soon but details were thin. Today we were granted a vision of this fun little build.
The LEGO Mythical Pegasus (40691) set will be available sometime “soon” since it’s now appearing on the LEGO website, but we don’t know much more. LEGO has valued it at $19.99 as a retail price but as a GWP you won’t be able to buy it. Given it’s a Creator 3-in-1 themed set, we’re betting it’ll be tied to purchases of sets in that theme above whatever purchase threshold is set.
The set has 278 parts and allows you to create 1 of 3 builds (Creator 3-in-1) which primarily features the Mythical Pegasus, a dragon or a bird all of which include posable features like wings and legs.
Does the Pegasus look familar? Many are comparing it to last years 31140 – Magical Unicorn set – there’s definitely some similarities but the new Mythical Pegasus features nearly twice as many parts.
