The BrickToons Trailer is here! As we announced yesterday, LEGO and Pixar have teamed up for a Disney+ Streaming exclusive featuring classic Pixar characters in new settings, all built with our favorite LEGO bricks and now we have our first look.

Details are scant on this series of 5 episodes. IMDB doesn’t have anything, Disney+ and Pixar are equally void of details but the description of the trailer gives us a few things, mainly some of the characters we can expect from each short. The voice cast for each hasn’t been announced, but listening to the voices in this trailer (repeatedly) it seems like they got the actors back for the main roles.

It’s still unclear why they’ve withheld the “Finding Nemo” title card up to now when the other 4 were released the other day. Maybe there’s a big “splash” attached to this one or something. The trailer feature the characters so it’s not like there’s a secret that it exists.

The other question that people are asking, is could there be new LEGO/Pixar crossover sets coming because of this? Other than in video games and animation, there’s been very little love for Pixar shown in LEGO sets (Yes, the cars stuff…sure). It doesn’t seem too likely, but never say never.

BrickToons Trailer Description

“Check out the new trailer and images for a brand-new series of shorts featuring fan-favorite Pixar characters. “LEGO Pixar: BrickToons” catches up with Marlin and Dory from “Finding Nemo,” Jack-Jack and his super siblings Dash and Violet from “The Incredibles,” Lightning McQueen and Mater from “Cars,” Merida and her rambunctious baby brothers from “Brave,” and Miguel and Hector from “Coco” in an all-new series of LEGO®-styled animated adventures for which no assembly is required. All five episodes begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ in just two weeks on Sept. 4.”

Let us know what you think. Would the BrickToons trailer prompt you to sign up for Disney+ for a month? Do you already have a Disney+ subscription?
