The Brick Shop, a LEGO Certified store based in Singapore briefly listed the upcoming LEGO Star Wars C-3PO set (75398) on their site, but it now redirects to a “not exists” page. Speculation is that LEGO will officially announce very soon as pre-orders are rumored to open on July 1.
The set was priced at $229.90 Singaporean dollars, which could indicate a US price of $139.99 when it goes on pre-order, and then becomes widely available on August 1.
From the photos – now removed from that site – the figure will be quite tall and depict the golden droid using a ton of pearl gold pieces along with some silver for his swapped out right leg. The figure will also include a specification/display plaque and a minifigure with a dual-moulded silver and gold leg. This seems to be the same minifigure from 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder.
