Hey LEGO fans and BrickLink supporters!
Today it was announced that the BrickLink Designer Program – Series 2 is now open for fan voting – and there’s a LOT to consider here. 190 designs were submitted and available to be voted on. Considering the first round had 375 builds to choose from, this is a lot fewer but the quality is still there.
There are also some familiar builds here. Submissions that weren’t in the finals of round 1 were resubmitted as were some LEGO Ideas submissions that weren’t approved in their respective rounds.
For each – or any that you want to vote on – you have 3 options to choose from: Not for me, Like it, or Love It.
From today, June 12 until June 30 fans can vote on which sets are their favorite with the hopes of those becoming available for purchase in the future. The BrickLink team will spend July and most of August reviewing the sets for a number of factors beyond just the votes. Other factors include brand fit and building experience alongside it being a crowd favorite.
On August 23, the final 5 sets that will be made into BrickLink Designer sets will be revealed.
