As the end of the crowd-funding & pre-order period nears, BrickLink today revealed the packaging for their AFOL Design Program kits. The packaging is nice and clean with simple images on a white background. The box will also have the designers BrickLink name, part count and a bit of information about the kit.
One feature I really love, as seen below, is that each set comes with a unique photographic background made to showcase them. It’s great for displaying the set as well as taking photos to share on Instagram, Twitter or whatever your network of choice is.
If you haven’t ordered one yet there’s only 6 days remaining to do so (April 15). As of now, 3 sets are still short of their funding goals. Clovershire Castle, Viking Ship 3D Mosaic, and Poseidonia are all well short of the goals set for them and they may not make it.
