As we reported a couple of days ago, new Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts sets could make their way to shelves in 2018. Today, Brick Fanatics, a UK LEGO news site, has presented even more details on the 5 sets.

Reportedly 5 new sets will be released around September 2018 and there will be 3 sets based on the original Harry Potter movies and books, along with 2 for the new Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald movie.

Ford Anglia from 2010’s Hogwart’s Express

The 3 Harry Potter sets could be:

  • Aragog with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley
  • Flying Ford Anglia with Weeping Willow
  • Hogwarts Great Hall

Two of these sets were partly included in the original run. Aragog and Harry were in Aragog in the Dark Forest (4727), with the Ford Anglia appearing in Escape from Privet Drive (4728) and also the Hogwarts Express (4841). The Hogwarts Great Hall could be a very cool and large set depending on how it’s done, we’ll have to wait and see.

For Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald the 2 sets are reportedly: Newt Scamander’s suitcase which should be a brick-built suitcase with buildable creatures within, and then an unknown set from the new movie.

We should learn more of these sets in the coming weeks as the Toy Fair season is upon us.
