We saw the packaging and a few images of the next Collectible Minifigure Series back in February when they were showcased at New York Toy Fair, and today Robert8 on the Eurobricks Forum has released some higher quality official images and what reads like a press release or website copy.

The names of 16 figures included are:

  • Battle Dwarf
  • Veterinarian
  • Circus Strong Man
  • Corn Cob Guy
  • Elf Girl
  • Hot Dog Man
  • Gourmet Chef
  • Connoisseur
  • Rocket Boy
  • Retro Spaceman
  • Roman Gladiator
  • Professional Surfer
  • Dance Instructor
  • Butterfly Girl
  • Yuppie
  • “Mystery Figure”

This figure is just a silhouette in all images, but you can see in the top image and enhanced to the left it appears to be holding an old flintlock style pistol. This matches with the fan theory this is a “Highwayman” character but we won’t know until the series is released on May 1 or someone leaks a photo.

There are new, fun, mixed LEGO® Minifigures Series 17! • Each minifigure comes with one or more pieces of accessories and display plate and collector brochure.
• Collect all the figures in the new and exciting range of LEGO® Minifigures, and make your own fun adventures.
• Combine it with existing LEGO® sets, and have hours of building fun.
• Swap minifigures with friends and complete your collection.
• NOTE: Each bag contains one of the 16 characters in the series. Unfortunately we can not accommodate requests for specific minifigures. If you buy more than one bag, you risk getting more of the same minifigures.
When buying a whole box, there is a minimum of one of each figure.
