Review:  Fort Legorado is a "castle" set with a western theme.  It is a fun playset with a ton of minifigures, including soldiers, bandits, a bad guy with a top hat and a moustache (required by the Evil League of Evil), three horses, a wagon, a cannon, and lots of guns and sabres.  It has the usual "secret" rooms -- in the Commander's headquarters, there's two chairs around a low table to play cards.  With a twist of the table, either of the two seats drop down - one to an escape exit, and the other into a jail!

I enjoy the use of the "wooden" style brown pieces, which are also used in Lego's Viking fort set and similar sets.  Note that this fort is not comprised entirely of 2x1 or 4x1 blocks:  the walls are mostly comprised of several larger "wall" pieces in the wooden-wall style, similar to the wall pieces in most of the castle sets.

The iconic tumbleweed bushes are also really unique pieces.  Aside from looking good, the bushes have a plant-like "feel" to them.   Notice that the bandit's bandannas can be reversed from around their necks to cover their mouths bandit-style.

I recommend this set as a playset, or for anyone collecting western-style Lego themes.  Fans of the DreamWorks animated film, Spirit could use this set to re-enact some of the scenes.

I bought this set "used" on eBay without a box, but it had all of the pieces in a plastic bag with instructions.  It was in very good condition.

Here we see the front view of the fort.  Two of the bandits are peeking out of barrels ready to ambush the soldiers.

It looks like the fort commander is getting ready for a poker game.

If he doesn't know when to hold them or fold them, he can trigger the secret button to drop his opponent into the jail cell below.
